1. Booking Terms
1.1. Reservations
Reservations for our properties can be made through our third-party partners, including Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, and our own booking platform Cloudbeds. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email from the platform through which you made the reservation.
All bookings are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until confirmation is received from the relevant platform. Each platform may have its own specific policies regarding cancellations, modifications, and refunds, which will apply to your reservation.

1.2. Payment
Payments for bookings made through Airbnb, Booking.com, or Expedia are processed according to the terms and conditions of those platforms. Salty Living LTD does not store or process your payment information directly unless the booking is made through Cloudbeds or directly with us.

1.3. Cancellation and Refunds
Please refer to the specific Refund Policy of the platform through which you made the booking (Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia). If your reservation was made directly with us via Cloudbeds, please refer to our Refund Policy for details on cancellations and refunds. Cancellations must comply with the terms of the OTA or Cloudbeds platform in order to qualify for a refund.
2. Guest Responsibilities
2.1. Check-in and Check-out
Check-in and check-out times will be specified in your booking confirmation. Early check-in or late check-out requests may be accommodated based on availability and may incur additional charges.

2.2. Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to respect the property, staff, and other guests. Any damage to the property, misconduct, or violation of house rules may result in additional charges or immediate removal from the property without a refund.
3. Use of Services
3.1. Personal Information
Your use of our website, and the services we provide, is subject to our Privacy Policy, which governs how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. Please note that when booking through Airbnb, Booking.com, or Expedia, you are also subject to that platform’s privacy policies.

4. Property Rights

5. Limitation of Liability
We strive to ensure that the information provided on our website and by third-party platforms is accurate and up to date. However, we cannot guarantee that it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by Costa Rican law, Salty Living LTD will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or third-party booking platforms, including Airbnb, Booking.com, or Expedia.

Salty Living LTD reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed about any updates.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Costa Rica, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Costa Rica.
